Introduction

 

Kambiz is an independent Iranian-Canadian poet/lyricist/musician born in Tehran and currently living in Toronto, Canada.

 

His work can be found on all Persian popular web corners. His composing and arrangements of "Paayeez e Neyzar" which was an instrumental collaboration with Jamshid Andalibi have been broadcasted on different Iranian national TV and radio stations for years. This album was published in 2000 in Iran. "Aadamaaye Kaaghazi" (Paper People), a compilation album of Persian POP music encouraging new talents to start their first professional recording has been published and released in Toronto in Dec 2005. He has written music and lyrics sang by a number of Persian singers in Toronto, Los Angeles and Europe including Shahrzad Sepanlou and Faramarz Aslani.

 

Kambiz also teaches practical performance lessons and theory to adult beginners of Persian POP style piano and drums and is currently assisting a number of emerging artists and bands with their music/lyrics/arrangement projects.

 

Paper People (Aadamaaye Kaaghazi)

"Aadamaaye Kaaghazi" is a Compilation Persian POP CD.
"Aadamaaye Kaaghazi is a non-commercial Album! That means more in depth lyrics, simpler and more expressive arrangements, less processing towards commercializing, and more live performances.  
There are 3 singers singing for the first time on professionally recorded and produced songs.  While exploring different arenas of Persian POP Music, this meant to encourage the ones who love to sing to start thinking about recording their first original song . 
"Shahrzad Sepanlou", well known Persian POP singer from Los Angeles has performed on two songs in this album as well.
 Profits of this CD, if any, will be donated to international organizations who defeat hunger in the world.
